Job Summary: As a Commercial Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in the onboarding, development, coaching, mentoring, and performance management of drivers and helpers. This position focuses on cultivating positive relationships with front-line employees and involves spending significant time in the field, guiding and supporting your team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Onboarding: Ensure that new frontline employees have the necessary tools, instructions, and feedback for successful daily operations. Conduct daily meetings with new employees to maintain effective communication and support throughout the onboarding process.
Developing: Provide consistent touchpoints with frontline employees to discuss best practices and enhance their daily performance. Support and understand their career goals to promote growth.
Coaching: Identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with employees to help them succeed. Actively seek and apply feedback in coaching conversations.
Mentoring: Lead by example to prioritize safety practices and foster an understanding of the WM Way among all employees.
Performance Management: Conduct root cause investigations for all injuries and incidents, ensuring appropriate documentation and retraining. Review daily operational documentation (e.g., DVIRs, driver time and attendance) and follow up as necessary. Engage with customers to assess and resolve safety issues, exploring alternative service solutions when needed.

Qualifications:

Required: Associate's Degree or a High School Diploma with two years of relevant work experience. Completion of the WM Route Manager Trainee program; must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in your country. Valid Driver's License is necessary.
Preferred: Relevant qualifications that enhance your candidacy.

Physical Requirements: This role involves a combination of office and fieldwork environments, requiring the use of standard office equipment (computers, phones, copy machines).
