Commercial Electrician

We are seeking experienced commercial electricians with at least 5 years of experience at a mechanic level. The role involves working on various commercial projects, including retail stores and apartment complexes.

Responsibilities

• Make connections, pull wires, install boxes for receptacles, and install lighting.
• Work proficiently with MC and Romex wiring systems.
• Interpret and work from blueprints.
• Perform conduit bending and use hand tools effectively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in commercial construction settings.

Essential Skills

• At least 5 years of commercial electrician experience.
• Proficiency in construction, conduit, troubleshooting, wiring, and installation.
• Ability to pull wire and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Having a valid electrician's license is preferred but not required.
• Must have a good driving record as company vehicles are provided.

Work Environment

The work environment requires adherence to safety protocols, including the use of PPE such as hard hats, steel-toed or composite boots, gloves, safety vests, and safety glasses. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 3 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
