Job Description

Join our team as commercial electrician. Will travel local in the area completing mostly commercial and some industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable work in commercial and industrial environments.

• Run EMT, Rigid, and PVC conduits ranging from ½ inch to 4 inches, including operating manual and powered threading and bending equipment.

• Set up and pull cables and conductors in conduit using both manual and powered methods.

• Install and terminate lighting and various wiring devices as directed.

• Use power tools in accordance with safety and operational manuals.

• Take direction from supervision and accomplish tasks in a timely manner.

• Perform terminations on panels, equipment, and control systems as directed.

• Work may require overtime, which may not always be scheduled in advance.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in electrical and network work in commercial and industrial environments.

• Proficiency in running EMT, Rigid, and PVC conduits and using threading and bending equipment.

• Ability to set up and pull cables and conductors using manual or powered means.

• Competence in installing and terminating lighting and various wiring devices.

• Capability to use power tools safely and effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction and conduit bending.

• Ability to follow safety protocols with personal protective equipment: hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, and high-visibility vest.

This is a Contract position based out of Lexington, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
