Commercial Collateral Operations Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented multitasker with a passion for commercial banking operations? Our financial customer is seeking a Commercial Collateral Operations Specialist to support their mission of being the most attentive, knowledgeable, and high-performing bank for our clients, teammates, and shareholders. This position is hybrid where you will be required to be onsite in Farmington Hills, MI for 3 days a week and remote for 2 days.

What You’ll Do:

As a key member of our Commercial Operations team, you’ll:

• Process and manage a variety of commercial collateral requests with precision and timeliness.

• Review loan documentation and verify MAP Authority for collateral release.

• Prepare and file UCC terminations, discharges, and other release documents.

• Index and image supporting documents into OnBase.

• Audit stock and bond portfolios semiannually.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to resolve escalated issues.

• Maintain workflow logs and contribute to team meetings and strategy sessions.

️ Skills & Tools You’ll Use:

• Commercial loan documentation (AOR, UCC filings)

• MAP Authority verification

• Microsoft Outlook and Excel

• Horizon core banking system, OnBase, Simplifile, Wolters Kluwer Solutions

• Government entity recording platforms

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in commercial collateral, loans, or documentation

• Hands-on experience perfecting and releasing commercial collateral are a MUST!

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple priorities

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
