Carpenter

We are seeking skilled carpenters for a commercial construction company. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in framing metal studs, acoustical ceiling installation, and hanging/finishing drywall. A valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Construct, install, and repair projects using metal stud framer/hanger/finisher hand tools and power tools.
• Follow blueprints and specifications accurately.
• Frame walls, hang and/or finish drywall, and install ceilings efficiently and with high quality.
• Prepare or assist with layout using lasers, squares, chalk lines, and other tools.

Essential Skills:

• 2+ years experience in framing metal studs, acoustical ceiling installation, and drywall hanging/finishing.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and specifications.
• Experience with hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 1 year of general construction experience.
• OSHA 10 certification.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tonawanda, New York.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $33.00/hr.
