As a systems engineer on our team, you'll have the chance to design mission data file reprogramming solutions in support of combat data systems that enable weapons systems to identify, locate, and attack threats. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize F-35 Joint reprogramming hardware and software. You'll develop your skills in DoD acquisition and systems engineering while gaining experience in fifth-generation fighter technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and electromagnetic sensor data. Grow your skills by merging systems engineering and data fusion to create reprogramming tools that accelerate sensor fusion, combat identification, and weapon cueing or targeting. You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in an engineering, technical acquisition, software, or data analysis position
• 3+ years of experience in engineering design or requirements development
• Knowledge of sensor data
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition and systems engineering processes
• Ability to communicate and coordinate across large stakeholder groups
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with project management, acquisition support, or engineering with DoD aviation related systems
• Experience with weapon system sensor data, data fusion, combat ID, mission data files, or reprogramming labs
• Knowledge of the F-35 Joint Reprogramming Enterprise
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning approaches to multi-source data fusion for combat ID

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
