Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed location revenue goals and other KPIs by managing the front and back of shop from vehicle intake through delivery to ensure throughput, production quality and efficiency so the location meets or surpasses KPIs.
• Labor assignment and production management: assign repair jobs to body technicians and prioritize teardown or paint.
• Teammate support: assist teammates during peak times by receiving customers, checking-in vehicles and writing estimates as needed.
• Monitor and attain production goals and standards: ensure all repairs align with Crash Champions and I-CAR quality standards, ensure accurate billing, and uphold PPE protocol for teammate safety.
• Complete shop payroll and staffing in a timely manner: ensure production staff adheres to punch-in/out guidelines and flag-hour procedures for weekly payroll processing; manage staff PTO, vacation, or leave.
• Manage daily production flow: communicate with team members (body technicians, collision estimator, parts managers) to keep production moving to meet delivery requirements.
• Write DRP-compliant estimates as needed: complete estimates after full disassembly and damage discovery, update estimates as needed, and lock final estimates.
• Team acquisition, coaching and development: understand teammate position requirements, interview and hire candidates with suitable skills and experience, and provide performance coaching and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the collision industry, including high-level knowledge of insurance procedures and requirements for various carriers.
• Aptitude in decision-making and problem solving.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with others to meet shared objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and achieve results.
• Proficient knowledge of estimating software, CCC ONE Total Repair Software; proficient with computers and technology.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Compensation: USD $80,025.00 – $150,000.00 per year. In addition to the listed range, the role may be eligible for performance-based bonuses. Actual offer based on factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications.
