Collections Agent

Our client is seeking a Collections Agent to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience in the field, which will align successfully in the organization.

Rotating Shift (8 AM 9 PM) - ONSITE

Pay Rate: $15 usd per hour - weekly pay (Increases)

Experience in Call center, Sales, Retail or Collections.

Primary Purpose:

Responsible for collecting delinquent accounts professionally and efficiently while adhering to standardized collection procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet individual performance goals (e.g., call volume, contact rate, promises kept).
• Make and receive collection calls; negotiate repayment terms.
• Accurately navigate and communicate account information.
• Determine delinquency causes and propose appropriate solutions.
• Document all collection activities in system tools.
• Coordinate with branch lenders as needed.
• Order updated credit reports or initiate skip tracing.
• Process deferrals and customer payments per policy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication (verbal and written).
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to flexible schedules, including overtime.

Desired Skills:

• Previous experience in collections, customer service, or sales.
• Bilingual (preferred, not required).
