Cognitive Retraining Specialist Full-Time

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

Cognitive Retraining Specialist - Erie, PA

Location: Community-based (Client’s home, work, or volunteer setting)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (No weekends/holidays/on-call)

Pay: $20/hour + mileage reimbursement

Status: Full-time (40 hrs/week) or Part-time (20–25 hrs/week)

About the Role

Join a leading provider of cognitive rehabilitation! As a Cognitive Retraining Specialist , you’ll help individuals develop essential life skills to increase independence at home and in the community. Services are tailored to each client, so every day is unique.

Examples of support areas include:

• Memory and problem-solving strategies

• Budgeting, planning, and scheduling

• Communication and social skills

• Academic support and study skills

• Community navigation and safety

• Vocational readiness (volunteering, employment)

You’ll work with 1–3 clients per day, 3+ hours each.

Training & Support

• Paid training: 2 weeks initial + 5 weeks of mentorship

• Ongoing professional development through Relias training

• No prior experience required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related Human Services field

• Valid driver’s license (held for at least 12 months) and reliable vehicle

• Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills

• Experience with individuals with disabilities is a plus
