Position Summary:

As an RN under provider direction, you will deliver skilled nursing care in various clinical settings. Your responsibilities will be characterized by applying the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient responses to current or potential health issues following established practices and guidelines. This role reports to a Practice Manager.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing office-based nursing care in collaboration with healthcare providers.
• Assessing the physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs affecting patients and their families, developing a comprehensive nursing plan, and ensuring continuity of care through evaluation and intervention.
• Demonstrating independent nursing actions based on thorough assessment and problem identification.
• Triaging telephone inquiries and executing prompt, precise nursing interventions as needed.
• Offering empathetic assistance to patients, families, and clients while maintaining confidentiality and privacy.

Qualifications:

• Current RN License in Connecticut is required.
• Previous experience in a Medical/Surgical Office setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical software is an advantage.
