CNC Programmer/Machinist (Job Shop)

Pay: $34-$38 (Depends on experience)

Job Description

As a CNC Machinist, you will exclusively operate HAAS CNC Vertical machines with Haas controls, along with various grinding and manual mill machines. You will be responsible for machining custom parts for the machine building process, ranging from simple tasks like making holes in brackets to machining parts from scratch. Work is rarely repeated, with most parts being custom-made.

Responsibilities

1. CAM software programming
2. Perform setups per week on HAAS CNC Vertical machines.
3. Machine custom parts based on drawing packages provided by the project manager.
4. Handle materials such as aluminum, steel, stainless steel, 4140 pre-treated materials, and plastics.
5. Maintain attention to detail with tolerances occasionally as tight as +/- 0.002.
6. Complete drawing packages that typically contain a full day's worth of work.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $38.00/hr.
