CNC Mill Programmer

We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Programmer to oversee the operations and programming of a newly acquired HAAS VF2SS machine. This role involves 25% operating and 75% programming, with the responsibility of managing all aspects related to this machine. Additionally, you will eventually be responsible for programming three other burn tables within the same cell of the shop.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate the newly acquired HAAS VF2SS machine.
• Select and utilize appropriate programming software for CNC operations.
• Develop and implement programming for burn tables within the shop.
• Ensure efficient and precise operation of CNC machinery.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.

Essential Skills

• Experience in CNC programming, specifically with HAAS machines.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• SolidWorks expertise.
• Minimum of 6 years of CNC programming experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to operate CNC machinery as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks.

Work Environment

This position involves a mix of shop and office work, with approximately 75% of the time spent in the shop and 25% in the office. The shop environment is not climate controlled, meaning it can get hot or cold depending on the weather conditions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
