CNC Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to maintain and ensure the optimal performance of all equipment throughout the facility. This role is crucial for minimizing machine downtime and supporting smooth production operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and routers.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and implement timely repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and machine performance.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize machine downtime.
• Install, calibrate, and test new CNC equipment and upgrades.
• Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements or replacements.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools required for maintenance tasks.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and pneumatics.
• Experience in preventive maintenance and machine repair.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting, specifically with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics and machine repair.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with CNC maintenance, 3-phase motor wiring, and machine installation and commissioning.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
