CNC Machinist (28 - 34 An Hour)

Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Machinist responsible for setting up and operating up to three CNC Mills simultaneously. The role involves handling Seiki machines and Smart CNC Machines, utilizing Funuc and Mitsubishi controls. The Machinist will perform quality checks, ensure machines hold tolerances of +/- .5, and work with materials like titanium, bronze, copper, and steel alloys.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate up to three CNC Mills at a time.
• Operate Seiki machines and Smart CNC Machines running on Funuc and Mitsubishi controls.
• Perform quality checks on parts using calipers and micrometers.
• Ensure machines hold tolerances of +/- .5.
• Work with titanium, bronze, copper, and steel alloys.
• Deburr parts as needed.
• Perform offsets and tool changes.
• Make adjustments to G&M codes as needed.
• Enter production numbers into the computer system.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience in machine operation, specifically setting up and operating CNC Mills.
• Ability to perform own tool changes and offsets.
• 2+ years of experience setting tooling in CNC machines.
• 2+ years of experience in setting up CNC machines based on blueprints.
• 2+ years of experience in quality checks using micrometers and calipers.
• Proficiency in data entry and computer navigation.
• 2+ years of experience interpreting blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with GD&T is a plus.
• 1 year of experience with CAD programming is a plus.
• 1 year of experience with twin spindles is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springboro, Ohio.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
