In-Home Caregiver for ADL Assistance in Chicago

Looking for a passionate, dependable, caring person to assist our client in Chicago with their ADLs (activities of daily living) in their own home. If you would prefer a job that is 1 ON 1 please apply!

Hours available: Monday 10am-7pm and Tuesday - Friday 10am-2pm. If you are not available for this exact schedule, but you can do something close, we still want you to apply!

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, and feeding
• Providing companionship and conversation
• Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and linen changing
• Laying out clothes and assisting with dressing
• Planning and preparing meals
• Providing medication reminders

Qualifications

• Must have dementia experience
• Ability to interpret the client's provided plan of care
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
• Must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies
• Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
• Nonsmoker
• Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care, a plus!
• You will not work with ARIS at home as a certified nursing assistant, but as one of the following: caregiver, companion, personal care attendant, HHA, CHHA, H.H.A., home health aide, home health worker, home care caregiver, homemaker

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
