UW Medicine Primary Care at Issaquah has an outstanding opportunity for a Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT).

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Performs routine and stat laboratory tests utilizing automated or semi-automated equipment, kit assays, and microscopic evaluations. This includes the ability to understand, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the applicable equipment and testing methods.
• Performs work accurately and precisely and can organize the workload to meet service demands, calmly, efficiently, and without direct supervision.
• Performs quality control analyses on all tests assigned and determines whether all parameters are within established ranges.
• Participates in training and demonstrating routine laboratory techniques to new employees in coordination with the CLT Lead.
• May send out letters to patients, as delegated by clinic leadership, with lab results or overdue reminder letters for appointments.

Requirements

• Active Washington State MA-Phlebotomist Certification required
• High School / GED
• Minimum one-year relevant experience or training in a clinical laboratory or medical setting

The clinics offer a wide spectrum of primary care services, as well as secondary care, from pediatrics to geriatrics. Urgent care services are offered seven days a week at select locations. Compensation, Benefits And Position Details

Pay Range Minimum: $26.87 hourly

Pay Range Maximum: $39.06 hourly
