Cloud Network Lead Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Cloud Network Senior Engineer to join their team. As a Cloud Network Senior Engineer, you will be part of the Network Infrastructure Department supporting the IT Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Cloud Network Senior Engineer
What's the Job?

• Lead the design, delivery, automation, and support of network infrastructure services and solutions.
• Manage and optimize cloud and on-premises network security solutions, including Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama.
• Support routing, switching platforms, load balancer platforms, and shared network IP services.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure seamless planning and delivery of technology solutions.
• Develop technical documentation, specifications, and project artifacts to enhance system resiliency and high availability.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience supporting enterprise-level IT infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, and supporting firewall rules in large environments.
• Experience with F5 load balancers, Cisco routers and switches, and cloud firewall technologies (GCP, Azure, AWS).
• Proficiency with network analysis tools such as TCPDump and Wireshark, and scripting languages like Python, Ansible, and Terraform for automation.
