Shift: Days

Pay: $33.82 - $50.73 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Summary:

Join our dedicated team as a Clinical Therapist specializing in Behavioral Health. You will play a crucial role in assessing psychiatric patients in collaboration with emergency department professionals, recommending suitable dispositions, and operating as an independently licensed behavioral health clinician.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct timely and quality assessments, interventions, and recommendations, using your diagnostic skills and adhering to state regulations.
• Develop safe and clinically appropriate disposition recommendations, providing brief interventions, safety planning, and connecting patients to community resources.
• Act as the primary communication link among clients, families, emergency department staff, physicians, and community providers.
• Utilize critical thinking skills and decisive judgment while working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate competence with DSM diagnostic criteria and treatment planning.
• Conduct evidence-based assessments for suicide risk and create effective safety plans.
• Exhibit high standards of clinical and ethical professionalism, along with proficient conflict resolution and critical thinking skills.

Minimum Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• State licensure as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Addiction Counselor (ACD), or other relevant licensure as approved by department leadership.
