Your Role & Impact
As a Clinical Resource Nurse in the Med/Surg unit, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple departments. You'll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with complex medical needs, often working independently and making critical decisions.
This role includes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans, respond to changes in patient conditions, manage medications and equipment, and assist with discharge planning. You'll also contribute to bedside education, staff orientation, and quality improvement efforts. Flexibility to float between med/surg, ICU, and ED as needed is essential.

Job Requirements
Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
• 1-2 years of recent med/surg or acute care experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a team-focused mindset
• Ability to float between departments (med/surg, ED, ICU) as needed
