Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator

We are seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to serve as a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator. This pivotal role ensures the ethical and compliant execution of clinical trials, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and data integrity. The coordinator will collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to support research excellence and uphold regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and enroll eligible participants in accordance with study protocols.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation of trial activities.
• Administer protocol-specific treatments and monitor for adverse events.
• Educate patients on medications, procedures, and trial expectations.
• Serve as a liaison between sponsors, investigators, and internal departments.
• Provide training and support to ancillary staff involved in research.
• Contribute to infrastructure development and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure strict adherence to FDA, IRB, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
• Maintain current regulatory documentation and certifications.
• Assist with audits, monitoring visits, and compliance reviews.
• Deliver patient care aligned with clinical and research standards.
• Conduct clinical assessments and perform study-related procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and research teams.

Essential Skills:

• Active RN license (Georgia).
• 5+ years nursing experience with inpatient experience.
• Graduate from an approved nursing school. BSN Preferred.
• Experience in clinical research (investigational drug studies). 2+ years Preferred.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (FDA, IRB, GCP).

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• BLS certification required.
• Experience with inpatient nursing.
• BSN Preferred.

Work Environment:

The position is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The work involves working with technologies and equipment related to clinical trials, ensuring a professional and focused environment.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marietta, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr.
