Oncology Specific Job

Your job is more than a job. Addendum to the Job Duties and Qualifications: Oncology Specific Duties and Credentials Chemotherapy Drug Review: Reviews chemotherapy treatment protocol selection for appropriateness based on patient's diagnosis. Calculates and verifies computer generated chemotherapy dosages based on patient specific data. Communicates inconsistencies in dose calculations/computer generated doses with physician. Accurately prepares and dispenses sterile chemotherapy and IV infusions in accordance with USP 797 guidelines. Maintains appropriate patient chemotherapy profiles for duration of active therapy cycles.

Education Qualifications: Preferred: 2 years of experience of Chemotherapy Dose Calculations, Chemotherapy Patient Assessment, Adult Neonatal TPN preparations, and Neonatal Dose

Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of the Common Chemotherapy Protocols

Work Shift: Variable Hours (United States of America)
