Clinical Nurse Supervisor - Ambulatory

Conducts necessary patient education regarding medications, procedures or other therapies being suggested, utilizing appropriate written instruction. Performs/assists stress tests according to established CMC policy and procedure as necessary, including post-procedure monitoring as is appropriate and necessary. Performs call-back evaluations on patient receiving diagnostic testing and/or procedures to assess outcomes. Conducts monthly rounding with direct reports (RN, LPN, CMA, LNA) .

Manages schedules and etime of direct reports (RN, LPN, CMA, LNA). Is responsible for compliance of direct reports with annual hospital and unit -based competencies/education. Assists with drafting and updating unit passed policies, protocols and job aids. Organizes and assists with orientation of new staff -RN, LPN, LNA, CMA. Delegates telephone triage, refill requests, patient flow, nurse visits, EKGs to appropriate staff according to scope/license and assist as needed. May be required to perform other duties of lesser, equal or greater levels of responsibility.
