As a Clinical Nurse III in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care for patients while fostering a supportive environment for families and colleagues. Your efforts will directly contribute to our mission of compassionate healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders and efficiently administer medications.
• Start IVs, perform treatments, and document all care in compliance with regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
• Assess patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
• Provide primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
• Administer medications according to orders and collaborate on a comprehensive Plan of Care.
• Guide ancillary personnel while maintaining high standards of professional nursing.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree).
• Current New York State Registered Nurse license required.
• Must obtain and maintain BLS and ACLS certifications.
• A minimum of 1-3 years clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
• Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Knowledgeable in quality concepts and problem-solving techniques.
