The role youll contribute:

Screens, assesses, develops and implements nutrition care plans based on patients' nutritional and educational needs that follow departmental guidelines for timely, quality nutrition care. Uses evidence-based standards where applicable. Participates in outpatient nutrition programs and clinics when applicable. Actively participates in projects and process improvement activities as assigned.

The value youll bring to the team:

• Uses the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Standards of Care and Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Nutrition Care Process, as well as hospital and departmental guidelines to facilitate nutrition care of patients.
• Uses evidence-based practices when available.
• Screens patients for nutritional risk in accordance with departmental guidelines.
• Performs comprehensive inpatient/client nutritional assessments and re-assessments across the age spectrum per departmental screening and assessment guidelines.

The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:

Required qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in nutrition and dietetics
• Registered Dietitian (RD)
• A minimum of 75 CEU hours every 5 years per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Guidelines

Preferred qualifications:

• 1 year of clinical dietitian experience
• Experience with Food Service Operations database and Dietetic software
