Class B Sales and Service Driver

Safety-Kleen is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver who holds a Class B CDL. Hazmat and tanker endorsements are preferred but can be obtained within 45 days of hire. In this role, you will train to operate a Class B box truck, providing exceptional on-site service for parts washer machines, picking up containerized hazardous waste, and promoting our products and services within a designated route.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all work practices and policies.
• Visit 10-12 customer locations per day.
• Switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean out sediment from sinks.
• Upsell products and services at customer locations and generate new leads.
• Service automotive repair shops, fleets, and manufacturing businesses.
• Timely completion of daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT and other regulatory requirements.
• Follow all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Class B CDL.
• Willingness to obtain Hazmat and tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service aptitude.
• Ability to perform physical functions as required by the job.
• Must successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical examination.
• Meet facial hair standards as per OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven strong customer service skills.
• Experience with commercial route driving (Class C or Non-CDL).
