Your responsibilities as a CDL-A Delivery Driver include:

• Conduct pre-and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer and submit a DOT inspection report detailing its condition.
• Verify the accuracy of the bill of lading and manage keys for off-hour deliveries.
• Safely drive the tractor-trailer to designated locations, utilizing your knowledge of commercial driving regulations and proficient maneuvering skills.
• Maintain your driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) per DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and exceptions.
• Unload the trailer and deliver products into the customer premises.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications we seek in a CDL-A Teammate:

• Minimum age requirement: 21 years.
• Must possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year of experience or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving.
• Must meet the motor vehicle record (MVR) and risk rating qualifications set by McLane.
• Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English is necessary for effective communication and to ensure safety and operational compliance.
