JOB SUMMARY:

As a Class A Delivery Driver, you will safely and efficiently transport products from our warehouse to various customers, delivering and unloading products according to company standards and customer specifications.

• Evening Dispatch, Sunday - Friday, with most routes completed in no more than 36 hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Unload products from your trailer safely, either by hand or with a hand cart, and place them in designated storage areas.
• Complete all required paperwork according to company and governmental guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with food safety protocols during transport and delivery.
• Establish and nurture good customer relationships through excellent service and clear communication.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent, with at least 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License is required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe lifting practices.
• Ability to navigate through diverse terrains and weather conditions.
• Skilled in problem-solving and customer communication.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This role requires frequent lifting and moving of heavy products, as well as climbing in and out of trucks. Vision capabilities must include close, distance, and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Our drivers work in various conditions, including potentially extreme weather. An overnight schedule, including weekends and holidays, is common to meet customer needs.
