JOB SUMMARY:

To serve our customers by safely and efficiently transporting products from the warehouse to various customers, delivering and unloading products according to customer invoices and company standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Unload products from the trailer, using hand carts or by hand, in all weather conditions, placing them in designated customer storage areas according to specifications.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and timely, including DOT logs, vehicle maintenance reports, and invoices.
• Ensure compliance with food safety protocols; maintain sanitary conditions in the tractor, trailer, and warehouse.
• Develop strong relationships with customers through excellent service and clear communication.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent. Completion of a tractor-trailer driving school is accepted.

CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License. Must be insurable.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of: DOT regulations; Hazmat guidelines; Safe lifting and delivery practices.

Skills: Driving over long distances; communicating with customers; problem-solving; delivering products.

Ability to: Drive a tractor-trailer in various conditions, handle hazardous materials, maintain productivity levels, and communicate effectively in English.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear; lift or move products weighing up to 50 pounds; push/pull up to 350 pounds with a hand cart; climb in and out of a tractor and trailer.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Occasionally exposed to wet, hot, cold, and humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; confined spaces; and moderate noise levels.
