Class A CDL Truck Driver

Join Hepaco, A Clean Harbors Company! We are looking for a Class A CDL Driver to operate diverse heavy and light-duty trucks and equipment at customer sites. You will be responsible for driving and non-driving duties related to hazardous waste clean-up, using vehicles such as vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize health and safety by following all safe work practices and policies.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers in a collaborative atmosphere.
• Manage loading and unloading operations.
• Handle manual labor requirements on-site to meet customer satisfaction.
• Ensure proper placarding of vehicles in compliance with Company and DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, time sheets, and reports.
• Follow all local, state, and federal driving regulations.
• Adhere to corporate safety guidelines and environmental protocols.
• Be available for emergency response on a rotating schedule, as required.
• Engage in site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous material handling.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of hire.
• Capability to use various mobile devices.
• Physical capacity to perform job functions.
• Completion of a background check, drug test, and physical.
• Meet OSHA facial hair standards for respirator use.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a commercial driver.
• Current Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Prior experience handling hazardous materials.
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles.
• Experience in manual labor roles.
