Position Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our dynamic team at Ryder! We are looking for the right candidate who is ready to make a difference.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Pass a drug test and comprehensive background check.
• Pass a DOT physical and road test.
• Hold a valid Class A CDL with proper endorsements.
• Have verifiable experience driving a tractor trailer: 9 months in the past 3 years, 2 years in the last 5, or 5 years in the last 10.
• Strong ability to follow instructions and interpret regulations and policies.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with relevant federal and state regulations.
• Identify and mitigate safety hazards while driving.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of operations.
• Assist with loading/unloading freight as needed.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.
