In our one-on-one ABA setting, you'll engage directly with children aged 18 months to 8 years, using ethical, evidence-based ABA techniques in a supportive, center-based environment. With top-notch supervision and ongoing training, you’ll make a tangible difference every day!

What You'll Do as a Behavior Therapist:

• Implement one-on-one ABA therapy to assist children with Autism in reaching their full potential by following treatment plans, collecting data, writing insurance notes, and applying feedback from supervisors during observations.
• Foster development in early childhood through engaging and enjoyable therapeutic activities.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure optimized treatment and a fun work environment.
• Engage with children through play, movement, and imitation—this might include running, dancing, singing, reading, or imaginative play, all while promoting a joyful atmosphere.
• Communicate positively with peers, families, and supervisors to coordinate activities, celebrate achievements, and advocate for personal needs.

Job Requirements:

• Physical capability to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, squat, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment to engage actively with children.
• Maintain a therapeutic environment ensuring play areas are organized and conducive to an enjoyable experience.
• Ability to multitask effectively while prioritizing safety and communication with all parties involved.
• Team player who can support various centers when assigned.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's Degree Required.

You will need to complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment, which includes passing a 40-hour training curriculum, competency assessment, and the board's exam.

Pay ranges based on experience and education:

Masters: $22.00 - $28.00

Entry-level candidates can earn their first raise upon RBT certification, typically within 21 days.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in childcare (nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, tutor, etc.).
• Mental health professionals and advocates (QMHP, behavioral health technicians).
• Experience as camp counselors, volunteers, or Sunday school teachers.
• Degrees in teaching, special education, sociology, psychology, or related fields.
• Experience as paraprofessionals, direct support, or life skills assistants.
• A passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• A eagerness to contribute to a caring, team-oriented culture.
