As the Associate Market Clinical Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing clinical operations across multiple centers. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise, manage performance, and develop our Clinical Directors. You will also directly contribute to patient care as a Primary Care Physician, while dedicating time to leadership responsibilities. The balance between patient care and leadership will depend on various factors such as market needs and center sizes.

• Lead and manage clinical outcomes and day-to-day operations of Medical Directors across several centers.
• Ensure clinical operations are successful and meet or exceed performance benchmarks.
• Mentor and coach Medical Directors to achieve outstanding clinical results.
• Oversee the talent development of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Medical Directors, including practice facilitation and performance management.
• Foster a physician culture aligned with ChenMed's core model and values, promoting a harmonious work environment.
• Assist Clinical Centers of Excellence in training new practitioners within your designated centers.
• Participate in recruiting efforts for Primary Care Physicians and specialists.
• Build successful relationships with various stakeholders, including payers and community partners.
• Monitor and enhance the market culture while addressing workplace concerns promptly.
• Review and approve center-level referrals.

Additional Duties May Include:

• Support initiatives for quality and performance improvement.
• Lead monthly scorecard reviews and analyze clinical metrics.
• Contribute to training efforts for other ChenMed entities.
• Develop strong relationships with providers and key market stakeholders.
• Utilize market dynamics to enhance clinical initiatives.
• Deliver exceptional patient care as a Primary Care Physician.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• A strong focus on customer relationships and solutions.
• Excellent analytical and conflict resolution skills.
• Clinical excellence with a background in managed care delivery systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; comfortable with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally up to 30% of the time.

Education and Experience:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty.
• A minimum of two years clinical experience is required; three years preferred.
• Previous experience as a Medical Director or similar role with a Medicare or Medicaid population is preferred.
• Board eligibility is required; certification in relevant specialty is preferred.
• Must hold an active medical license.
• Demonstrated experience in population risk and chronic disease management.
