The Chief Medical Executive will oversee and enhance the performance of Clinical Directors in assigned markets. This role demands exceptional leadership to achieve center objectives, manage profitability, drive growth, and foster a positive culture. In addition to managing overall clinical outcomes, you will also engage in direct patient care as a Primary Care Provider (PCP) alongside your leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee clinical outcomes and daily operations of Medical Directors across multiple centers, regularly visiting each site.
• Ensure clinical operations meet or exceed financial targets.
• Mentor and coach Medical Directors to achieve clinical excellence.
• Foster talent development for PCPs and Medical Directors through shadowing, performance management, and leadership training.
• Create a physician culture aligned with our core values and service standards.
• Assist in training new practitioners in assigned centers.
• Participate in the recruitment of PCP and specialist candidates.
• Build strong relationships with payers, specialists, and community partners.
• Monitor market culture and respond promptly to workplace issues.
• Review and approve center-level referrals to support efficient patient care.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with leadership on quality and performance initiatives.
• Conduct monthly scorecard reviews and quarterly clinical metric analysis.
• Offer training to other entities as required.
• Leverage local market knowledge to drive clinical initiatives.
• Assist in implementing cost-saving strategies.
• Deliver outstanding patient care as a PCP (20% of your time).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• MD or DO in relevant specialty (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics).
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience required; 3 years preferred.
• Preferred 1 year experience as Medical Director with a Medicare or Medicaid patient population.
• Must be board eligible; board certification preferred.
• Active medical license in the state of practice.
• Track record of clinical leadership and team performance.
• Experience managing a patient panel effectively.
