CFO - Chief Financial Officer

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on CFO or Controller with strong industry experience in construction accounting for a mid-sized company in East LA. The CFO will be responsible for WIP accounting, month-end close, and operational focus. The ideal candidate is a doer who can manage both strategic and hands-on tasks.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2. 15+ years of management experience
3. Must have WIP and/or construction accounting experience
4. System implementation experience (highly preferred)
5. Advanced Excel skills

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee accounting and finance team
2. Lead financial planning, cash management, tax, general ledger, and financial reporting
3. Collaborate on long-term strategy with senior leadership
4. Manage relationships with banks and capital providers
5. Guide due diligence, negotiations, and documentation with finance providers
6. Implement performance management, planning, and profitability analysis processes
7. Ensure compliance with regulatory organizations and reporting standards
8. Contribute to company growth and sustainability
9. Use financial analysis to inform business decisions
10. Develop strategies for capital raising and investor relations
