CF: Production Quality Inspector -2nd Shift

Volt is immediately hiring for a Quality Inspector - 2nd Shift in Paramount, CA .
As a Quality Inspector, you will:

• Perform in-process and final inspections on aerospace components
• Verify part configurations and interpret manufacturing blueprints
• Use standard measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, and height gages
• Conduct first part inspections and full first article inspections
• Maintain detailed records and inspection reports
• Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Follow safety procedures and company policies
• Work under 6S principles to maintain clean and organized workspace
• Identify and isolate non-conforming parts
• Collaborate with production to prioritize inspection queues
• Train on Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of quality inspection or manufacturing experience
• Familiarity with blueprints, engineering diagrams, and certifications
• Experience using inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.)
• Knowledge of GD&T and ANSI Y14.5 (a plus)
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and work in industrial environments

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM ***Needs to be flexible to train on 1st shift****
Pay Rate: $20.48 per hour
