We are seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and diligent Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team. This is a permanent position, offering the opportunity to work alongside a team of highly skilled healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art surgical environment. With a commitment to patient safety and satisfaction, our new team member will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures by ensuring the equipment is functioning properly and safely.
• Prepare the operating room and the patient for surgery by following the surgical protocol.
• Assist surgeons during surgery by passing them instruments and other sterile supplies.
• Clean and restock the operating room following the surgery.
• Maintain a sterile surgical environment for the safety of the patient and staff.
• Collaborate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to ensure the success of the procedure.
• Keep up-to-date with current practices and surgical techniques.
• Comply with all health and safety standards, including sterilization procedures and guidelines.
• Provide patient education regarding post-operative care and recovery.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
• Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in good standing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in total joint procedures is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgery center is preferred.
• Orthopedic experience is a must.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
