nWork hours: Part Time- 24 hours; 7:00pm-7:00am with rotating weekends

- n 375 - 400 deliveries per monthnn n
- n Maternal IV designation in Labor & Deliverynn n
- n Strong collaborative teamwork of skilled nursing for challenging antepartum and laboring patientsnn n

Here's What You Need
n- n
- n H.S. Diploma or Equivalent and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009 required ORnn n
- n Other Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program, Vocational Nurse Program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology upon hire required ORnn n
- n Other Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program, Vocational Nurse Program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology upon hire preferrednn n
- n Labor and delivery scrub experience preferrednn n
- n CST - Certified Surgical Technologist graduate of an accredited surgical tech program Upon Hire Req Ornn n
- n CST - Certified Surgical Technologist and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009 Upon Hire Req Ornn n
- n CST - Certified Surgical Technologist graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology Upon Hire Req Ornn n
- n LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire Req Andnn n
- n BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Upon Hire Requirednn n
What You Will Do
n- n
- n Assist in providing peri-operative care for a patient population that includes Infants, Pediatrics, Adults, and Geriatricsnn n
- n Assist with stocking Unit (Rooms and Supplies)nn n
- n Attend Vaginal Deliveriesnn n
- n Preoperatively assist R.N. circulator in formulating plan of carenn n
- n Assist as needed in coordinating patient care peri-operatively and assume responsibility and accountability for behavior in order to maintain standards for professional nursing practicenn n
- n Post-operatively follow proper procedures for care of instruments, supplies and equipment. Under supervision, assist RN circulator with post-operative dutiesnn n
- n Assiss in the delivering of nursing care in a manner that minimizes the risk of transfer of infection and accidental contamination.nn n
