Salary Range: $26.50 - $41.50
Pay Info: $15,000 sign-on bonus for a 2-year work commitment, available to eligible applicants.

Department Details

Be part of a dynamic team where collaboration is key. In this role, you will assist surgeons in the operating room with WALANT procedures and in the clinic by putting on splints, casting, and more. Gain hands-on experience with pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care, while also helping patients with their clinic plans of care.

Job Summary

As a Certified Surgical Assistant, you will help operate surgeons with technical surgical procedures while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with intra-operative functions such as homeostasis, exposure, and closure.
• Preparing surgical tools and equipment while adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Collaborating with surgeons and health team members to develop preoperative plans.
• Administering preoperative medications and monitoring patient responses.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

1. Must meet the educational requirements for the state certification and/or licensure.
2. Eligibility to sit for the Surgical Assistant certification exam.
