Baptist Health Urgent Care is seeking passionate and skilled ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Technologists to become part of our exceptional healthcare team.

Baptist Health Urgent Care operates 23 locations throughout Arkansas as an affiliate of Urgent Team, a leading independent provider of urgent and family care services in the Southeast. Our convenient, walk-in centers offer a variety of essential healthcare services, including treatment for injuries, illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care. Our centers are open seven days a week, with specific hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Please note that our Conway - Oak Street location has modified weekend hours: Saturday and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. We are proud to hold Accreditation as Care Centers from the Urgent Care Association, affirming our commitment to safety, quality, and comprehensive services.

JOB SUMMARY:
As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform x-ray testing, utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Responsibilities include operating diagnostic equipment, developing film, preparing examination rooms with necessary supplies, and performing Medical Assistant duties. Full-time staff work a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours per week, including 12-hour weekday shifts and alternating weekends, while PRN (per diem) team members are scheduled as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Below are key tasks and responsibilities associated with this role:

• Greet patients promptly in waiting areas, exam rooms, and x-ray rooms.
• Maintain clear communication with patients regarding wait times and treatment next steps.
• Provide solutions to patient concerns while recognizing emergency situations and seeking assistance as needed.
• Conduct timely follow-up calls with urgency.
• Assist front desk staff with patient check-in and check-out processes when necessary.
• Accurately document patient vital signs, medical history, current medications, allergies, and other relevant information.
• Support patient transfers and assisting with procedures supervised by the provider.
• Work closely with providers to ensure timely completion of radiology procedures for effective treatment evaluation.
• Perform quality control procedures to guarantee quality imaging practices.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and patient care standards.
• Maintain and ensure proper operation of diagnostic equipment, reporting any malfunctions to the Manager or on-duty provider.
• Proactively enhance diagnostic imaging skills and knowledge through educational resources.
• Maintain current licensure and certification relevant to facility radiology equipment.

WHAT'S REQUIRED?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- Arkansas State X-Ray License
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferable
