Certified Pharmacy Technician Specialist

Join our dynamic Pharmacy team as a Certified Pharmacy Technician Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional healthcare services. Under the direct supervision of the pharmacist, you will assist in various pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Support pharmacists in the daily operations of the pharmacy, complying with company policies and procedures.
• Utilize pharmacy systems to efficiently enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Enhance the customer experience by greeting patients and assisting them with their needs.
• Assist in training and coaching pharmacy technicians and cashiers in pharmacy systems.
• Work collaboratively with pharmacists to manage workflow and schedule.
• Report any prescription errors immediately and adhere to quality improvement protocols.
• Handle cash register transactions and assist customers in locating products.
• Maintain inventory and assist in the management of pharmaceutical stock.
• Engage with healthcare providers to strengthen community relationships and enhance pharmacy services.
• Keep the pharmacy area organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Qualifications:
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred experience of at least six months in a retail environment.
• Prior experience with Walgreens is a plus.
• Strong math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of inventory control is preferred.
• PTCB certification is highly preferred.
• Training & Development:
• Earn and maintain PTCB certification or state-required credentials.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Salary Range: $19 - $22.5 / Hourly
