SUMMARY:

As a Certified Nursing Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, personalized care to our residents. You will collaborate closely with the nursing team to ensure the well-being of each individual. Your proactive approach to patient care and your ability to offer support will contribute significantly to our team's success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Patient Care & Service: Provide assistance to residents in all aspects of daily living as outlined in their personalized care plans. This includes transporting residents to activities, engaging them in leisure activities, evaluating their needs, and offering emotional support to both residents and their families.

• Safety: Help maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents.

• Communication & Documentation: Act as a liaison for families, directing them to appropriate staff. Respond promptly to resident requests and communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless care delivery.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in New York State.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

EDUCATION:

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Medium Work - Ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
