Salary Range: $17.00 - $25.50

Benefits Include:

• Must support multiple locations within 150 miles of permanent address
• Mileage reimbursement provided
• Premium Pay Rates:
• $5/hour premium on all hours worked
• $1.25/hour weekend shift differential
• $1.25/hour evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)

Experience Requirements:

• Long Term Care Experience (6 months preferred, 3 months required)

Scheduling Requirements:

• Minimum of 30 hours per month
• One weekend shift per month

Job Summary:

The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as a compassionate caregiver, providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance. You will work under the guidance of a registered nurse (RN) to address both the physical and psychological needs of the residents. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering age-appropriate care as per individual care plans.
• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Documenting interactions and care outcomes related to resident well-being.
• Ensuring cleanliness and operational upkeep of residents’ living areas.
• Supporting dining experiences by assisting with meals and encouraging participation in wellness programs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred (not required).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Must hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or be enrolled in a training program to obtain certification within four months of starting the position.
• Compliance with annual competency testing and continuing education requirements (minimum of 12 hours required annually).
