Shift: 8 Hours - Varied Shifts

Job Schedule: PRN

Weekly Hours: Varies

Salary Range: $19.00 - $25.50

Job Summary

The Nursing Assistant provides personalized care during scheduled shifts in long-term care settings. As a vital member of the nursing team, you will assist residents with daily living activities and basic health care needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering resident-centered care according to individual care plans.
• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Recording vital signs and providing psychosocial support.
• Facilitating positive dining experiences and assisting residents during meals.
• Documenting resident interactions and communicating changes in condition to the charge nurse.
• Upholding infection prevention policies and ensuring cleanliness in living areas.
• Encouraging resident participation in wellness and recreational programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 16; prior experience in long-term care is a plus.
• Required CNA certification, or in the process of obtaining it within four months.
• Completion of annual competency testing and continuing education (minimum of 12 hours required annually).
• For applicable states, registry with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry may be required.
