About the Role:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), your role is essential in providing high-quality care to residents. You will assist licensed care staff with various clinical and technical tasks, helping residents with their daily living activities, light housekeeping, dining services, and escort services. You will also be responsible for taking vital signs, weights, and other care-related duties as assigned. You'll be a vital part of the care team, participating in quality assessment activities and promptly notifying the team of any changes in residents' conditions.
Qualifications:
- Must possess current state certification with previous experience required.
- Prior experience with geriatric clients is preferred.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications are mandatory.
- Current First Aid certification is required or a willingness to obtain it.
- Food handler certification and Certified Medical Technician/Certified Medication Aide certification, where needed.
- Basic computer skills or a willingness to learn.
