Location: Montebello, Los Angeles

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a valid Phlebotomy Certification to provide 1:1 support in our afterschool program. This role is ideal for a healthcare professional who enjoys working with children and adolescents in a structured, supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  Provide direct 1:1 care and supervision to assigned student(s) during afterschool hours

  n

• n

  Assist with daily activities, hygiene, mobility, and medication reminders as needed

  n
n
• n

  Perform phlebotomy procedures when required, following all safety and clinical protocols

  n
n
• n

  Monitor and document health-related observations and behaviors

  n
n
• n

  Collaborate with program staff, families, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care

  n
n
• n

  Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all participants

  n
n

Qualifications:

• n

  Active CNA certification in California

  n
n
• n

  Valid Phlebotomy Certification (Preferred)

  n
n
• n

  Minimum 1 year of experience working with children or youth in a healthcare or educational setting

  n
n
• n

  CPR/First Aid certification preferred

  n
n
• n

  Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  n
n
• n

  Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

  n
n
• n

  Must pass background check and health clearance

  n
n

Schedule:

• n

  Weekdays, between 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM

  n
n
• n

  Additional hours may be available based on program needs

  n
n
