Position Summary

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a crucial role in enhancing the dignity, independence, and quality of life for our residents. In this rewarding position, you will assist with daily living activities, support medication reminders, and engage residents in social and spiritual activities. Your commitment will also involve providing personal care and monitoring the overall physical and cognitive wellbeing of our residents.

Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication reminders, following care plans and community policies.
• Support residents with lifting, turning, transferring, positioning, and ensuring safe transport in and out of beds, chairs, and mobility aids.
• Assist with all aspects of dining room services during assigned mealtimes, including setting up, cleaning, delivering meal trays, and providing feeding assistance as needed.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical and cognitive wellbeing to nursing staff and supervisors.
• Deliver nutritional supplements to residents and provide assistance during intake, ensuring compliance with documentation policies.
• Engage residents in meaningful life enrichment programming and activities that promote wellbeing.
• Document resident care efficiently and accurately, keeping records up to date.
• Perform additional duties as assigned while adhering to all community policies and procedures.

Position Requirements

Education: High School Diploma/GED required.

Licenses/Certifications: Certified Nursing Certification may be required based on state regulations.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of paid or volunteer experience working with seniors preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

• Demonstrated patience and compassion when working with elderly residents.

Location: The Village at Victory Lakes, Lindenhurst, IL

Pay Rate: Up to $22/hour for Full-Time and Part-Time positions.

Weekend Differential: $3.00 extra per hour!

Min: USD $18.00/Hr. Max: USD $24.00/Hr.
