Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.)

Location: Clifton Springs Nursing Home

Hours Per Week: 24 hr/wk

Schedule: Evenings

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $4500

SUMMARY: As a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, personalized patient care in partnership with our nursing team. Your proactive approach and commitment to patient welfare will contribute significantly to the success of our healthcare environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Patient Care & Service: Assist residents with daily activities according to individualized care plans, including transport to activities and providing emotional support to residents and their families.
• Safety: Collaborate in maintaining a clean and safe living environment for residents.
• Communication & Documentation: Engage with families, directing them to appropriate staff, and respond to resident needs promptly. Document and report patient status to team members effectively.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently certified in New York State as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills preferred.

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Medium Work - Requires exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally; 10 to 25 pounds frequently; and up to 10 pounds constantly. Frequent walking, standing, or squatting is required.
