Certified Nurse Midwife Hospitalist Program - per diem (Sacramento, CA)

Opportunity Information

Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a Supplemental Certified Nurse-Midwife to join our dynamic OBGYN Hospitalist team in Sacramento, CA.

• Collaboration with the SMCS OB Laborist team
• The location has a care model that is team-based and offers Obstetrics and midwifery
• The coverage need is approximately 2-5 shifts per months
• 12 hours shifts
• Nights, weekends, vacation and sick calls

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s or associate degree in nursing or related field
• Completion of an accredited midwifery educational program. Certified by either the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) or the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM)
• Appropriate state licensure
• Proven experience working as a midwife
• Basic Life Support (BSL) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
• The ability to work under pressure
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and clinical assessment skills
• Effective communication skills
• Patient and compassionate
