Summary:

Join our team as a Certified Medical Assistant, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for various support activities including accurate patient registration and insurance verification. Your ability to utilize good judgment and communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals will be essential in creating a positive experience for all involved.

Responsibilities:

• Your role aligns with our OneCHRISTUS Competencies, where you will take charge of your own growth as a Leader of Self.
• Provide assistance to physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in delivering outstanding medical support.
• Ensure precise data entry for patient accounts, registering patients, and maintaining up-to-date information.
• Conduct insurance verification and accurately record statistics.
• Help schedule patient appointments, manage phone communications, and keep providers updated while informing patients about their benefits.
• Take on additional duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of our practice.

Job Requirements:

Education/Skills

• A High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred.

Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of medical office experience is preferred.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is mandatory.
• BLS certification is required.

Work Schedule:

Full-time position from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
