Medical Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dedicated healthcare team focused on serving rural communities. This role combines clinical and administrative responsibilities to ensure efficient practice operations and high-quality patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Accurately document patient health information and medical history
• Manage incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries
• Follow up with patients via phone as needed
• Perform Point of Care (POC) testing
• Room patients promptly and ensure a comfortable experience

Required qualifications include:

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Prior experience in a family practice or similar clinical setting
• Proficiency in measuring and recording vital signs, including blood pressure

Preferred skills include:

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interaction
• High attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities

Pay and benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
